About Nutritional Therapy:

Nutritional Therapy is an evidence-based approach to maximising one’s health potential through individually formulated nutritional and lifestyle changes. It promotes the benefits of good, wholesome, unprocessed foods for optimal well being, as well as the therapeutic effects of particular foods for specific health conditions.


I am a qualified nutritional therapist, massage therapist and reflexologist, and a member of the Nutritional Therapists of Ireland. I am passionate about natural health and believe that the mind and body can thrive when supported holistically. I work with the individual needs of clients and tailor treatments accordingly.


My interest in health began many years ago. I qualified as a massage therapist in 2005 and then went on to train in a Chinese medicine school in Amsterdam for 3 years. My training included daily practice in meditation, qigong and yoga, which combined with learning Chinese Medicine gave me a deeper understanding of how to cultivate health.


The understanding of the importance of nutrition in optimising one's health led me to study nutritional therapy in 2013 with the College of Naturopathic Medicine. Through nutritional therapy, I can offer an evidence-based approach to assessing a client's current health status and provide personalised nutritional and lifestyle advice to deal with health concerns. By investigating the underlying cause of health problems, I can help clients regain their health and provide lasting benefits.

I have found the combination of massage and reflexology to be very effective. Calming the nervous system works so well to reduce stress which is one of the main contributors to health problems. Reflexology is a great way of reading the body and brings more depth and understanding to the client. 


As part of my treatments I help clients to understand their bodies and their health. I support them in making small changes gradually that will benefit their health and wellbeing. I also provide recipes and meal plans to inspire and make it easy for clients to incorporate delicious healthy foods into their diet.

As a busy mother, I understand how difficult it can be to juggle everything and take care of ourselves too!


I am available for nutrition consultations, massage therapy and reflexology at Solace Holistic Centre, Clonakilty.
